Skyrim dlc should i become a vampire
At a certain point in the Dawnguard side, you have the option to become one can't continue their quests past that though. A better option is that it becomes available any time you want after the very end of the dawnguard side once they have no more quests, so their refusal to work with you doesn't matter.
It can be cured like a normal vampire. But it's easier to just pick the other side if you don't want to be a vampire. VT posted More topics from this board How was it for you? Spoiler Seriously? You can join up with the Dawnguard and then convince them to take in Serana who they know is a Vampire simply by telling them to trust your recommendation about her. Then when they find out you're a Vampire the only option is for you to get cured. While you're standing there not allowed in, Serana is wandering around freely and unsupervised Nobody demands that Serana gets cured before she's allowed in, and you never get an option to convince anybody to let you in as a good vampire and a possible future asset - which is what you've just done to get Serana a free pass.
I stopped playing Skyrim for a while after I encountered this complete fail in logic. I've read many people say that. The vampire faction will still accept you, but no VL form.
The dawnguard rejects many people as a vampire until cured. The ones who stayed in in their game I don't think we're supposed to but it worked out for them. A lot of people upset for being rejected as a vampire ironically.
Harkon will comment that you have a disease but are no true vampire and will correct the situation. As for the Dawnguard, you can initially join them as others have said, and receive the quest to free Serana, but once past that point you will either have to cure yourself or accept Harkon's offer.
It honestly depends on your style I went with Dawngaurd just because i felt bad being bad untill i joined Dark Brotherhood while being a vampire can be fun people hate you in the game and if your hunger gets bad enough they will attack you. I was up in the air about this join the "good guys" or the guys who have attacked me multiple times, but could give me some neat gameplay but then I saw the adorable dog follower Bran. This seems like a hilarious reason to join the dawnguard but honestly it's the best reason.
I love him. In the end, the one thing that motivated me to join [the Dawnguard] was better Crossbow modifications. Or the fact that Crossbows should've been in Skyrim by default. TES6 better make them vanilla weapons.
Judgespektre wrote: The Dawnguard side had potential but was botched pretty badly. Isran has to be the most moronic leader of all time. Isran was a hunter with no followers to lead until right when the BD shows up. So for me the DG side was stupid and more than a bit boring. Omg an intellectual human.
Or should I say vampire wink wink. Can you gain access to Volkihar and all the loot, merchants, and other stuff besides the quests if you go vamp after completing with dawnguard? Also how can you still level the vamp perk tree with out the quests?
